Another taken away too soon and I am sad to hear of his passing. I know he has touched the lives of many people with his kind and humorous spirit. As I think back, I am reminded by all the wonderful memories of Roger and his family. During my high school years, Pearl and Roger were like my second parents and I spent many days and sometimes even nights with Lindsay at their home. My heart goes out to all of you through this most difficult time. May you find peace in knowing that Roger was such a wonderful, sweet, and caring man.

Growing up I wasn’t extremely close with extended family but man did this guy ever gain a place in my heart. Always had my back even though I was nothing more than a step family member. Probably one of the most intimidating teddy bears this world has ever seen. A couple of years ago I had the privilege of being in this man’s company one last time.
