EMMELL, Robert (Bob) (1946-2017)It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob at his home on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Joyce (née Chamberlain), his children; Robert Emmell Jr. (Karen), Brenda Fournier (René), Pamela Blackburn (Brian), his grandchildren; Andrew Blackburn (Bailey Kasner), Brianna Blackburn as well as Isaac Fournier. He is also survived by his siblings; Micheline Charbonneau (Leo), Edgar Emmell (Brenda) and Raymond Emmell (Sylvia). Bob is predeceased by his mother Laurette (Girard) Emmell and father Joseph Emmell, his brother René Emmell (Pierrette) and his niece Leona Charbonneau. Bob was an active volunteer, avid hunter and fisherman, member of the Larder McGarry Lions Club, diehard Blue Jays fan and Maple Leaf fan but most of all he loved spending time with his family. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Sandy Dickie, Dr. Kurki, staff at the Kirkland & District Hospital, staff at Centre de Santé, V.O.N.’s and C.C.A.C. MEMORIAL MASS

I only met Bob a couple of times through my parents. He was their tax man (and for many others as well). He came to our rescue (so to speak) on an occasion where I needed some extra assistance with that. I was very grateful for his help and could tell that he was a good, generous man.
