Englehart resident Bob MacCallum died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, June 03, 2015 at the age of 83. He was born in New Liskeard to Robert and Elizabeth (Bailey) MacCallum on May 9, 1932. Mr. MacCallum was self-employed and worked for many employers in the forestry business. He was known first and foremost as an outdoorsman. As a young man he hunted and fished and continued to fish avidly into his later years. He had a keen interest in prospecting and devoted hours to staking claims and collecting core samples. Mr. MacCallum is dearly loved by his stepchildren Eugene (Connie), Rob (Bert), Sherry, Kelli (Mike), Bonnie Lee (Rick) and Kevin (Ruth). Sadly missed by Ann `MacCallum` Jeffs and Findlay MacCallum to whom he was a uncle and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his wife Pearl, parents Robert and Elizabeth, brother Archie (Melba) and sisters Sarabel and Mary. In keeping with the family`s wishes, cremation has taken place.
