The family announces with sorrow the passing of Mr. Robert `Bob` Gaston on Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Kirkland & District Hospital. Pre-deceased by his parents Fulton & Adria, sisters Doris Lawlor, Jean Gaston, brothers Wallace & Clifford and brothers-in-law Raymond Lawlor, Robert Pendrith & Paul Lauay. He is survived by wife Rosemary, 2 sons Ted & Glen (Jill). Bob will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Corey (Michelle), Kristen (Kyle) Newman, Jeff Welch, Gary (Shannon) Welch and his great grandchildren Kelly Newman, Keenan Welch, sisters Marjorie Pendrith, Muriel (Fred) Erickson, Linda Lauay, brother Ralph (Ann), Gerald (Brenda) sister-in-law Barbara Gaston and by many nieces & nephews. In keeping with Bob`s wishes, there will be no service or visitation at this time and cremation has taken place. In memory contributions may be made to the Kirkland & District Hospital Auxiliary or the Kirkland Lake Palliative Care Program C/O the Kirkland & District Hospital.
