Rita was born on April 7, 1918 and passed away peacefully at Extendicare Kirkland Lake on October 14, 2007 surrounded by her family at the age of 89 years. She was predeceased by her husband Gérard Talbot. Rita is survived by her ten children Marguerite (Roger) Amyotte of Beachburg, ON, Jean-Guy (Beverly) Talbot of Kirkland Lake, ON Fleurette (Gordon) McComb of London, ON, Raymond (Florence) Talbot of Tuxford, SK, Hélène Talbot of Timmins, ON, Thérèse (Camille) Ménard of Timmins, ON, Diane (Murray) Elyea of Oakville, ON, Michel (Diane) Talbot of Bourget, ON, Suzanne Talbot of Kanata, ON, and Claire (Brian) Dunn of Port Moody, BC, 28 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Irene Leroux of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We wish to acknowledge and gratefully thank the staff on the second floor of Extendicare (Kirkland Lake) who showed great compassion and amazing care towards our dear mother. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2007.
