BAMBRICK, Rita

Our Mom, Rita Marie Bambrick, lost her year long battle with lung cancer and passed on Sunday July 10th. Rita moved to New Liskeard to be near family 3 years ago. Walking on our picturesque boardwalk and family get togethers were some of her favourite times. Rita was predeceased by her husband Charles in 2011, her parents Frederic and Elise Caissie and sister Virginia. She is survived by her sons Darcy (Jane) and Patrick (Patricia), Grandchildren Natasha (Justin), Sean Bambrick and Sirius Ellis. Also survived by her siblings, Georgina, Jeaninne, Rosa, Domine, Elva, Rheal and Rosimond, as well as sister-in-law Lily Ploughman. Rita is remembered by many nieces and nephews as well as her special neighbour and friend Shirley Beaubien. The family will receive friends on Monday July 18th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service officiated by Rev. Robert McCarty at 11:00 a.m. at the Perrin Funeral Chapel. Mom will be laid to rest in Valleyview Cemetery, New Liskeard. There will be a luncheon at the First Baptist Church, New Liskeard following the service. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.
