Peter O’Brien – January 16, 1961 – April 8, 2012 – Peter passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 from complications due to a brain infection. Peter had battled and had overcome leukemia in 2010. His sense of humour and drive to fight whatever came his way was an inspiration to many. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Peter is survived by his mother Helen O’Brien, his brother Pat O’Brien, two sisters, Casey O’Connor (Tim), Tracey Labbe (Pierre) and his daughter Cassandra O’Brien. He is also survived by three nieces, Natalee and Amy O’Connor, Terry Lynn Labbe. He was predeceased by his father Terrance O’Brien, grandparents Tynne and Stan O’Brien of Kirkland Lake, Nora and Norman Wilson of Englehart and his brother Stan O’Brien. There will be a gathering at the Monette & French Funeral Home for family and friends on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 7:00 – 9:00 -p.m. and a service on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the French & Monette Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Rob Slote officiating.Offer Condolence for the family of Peter O’Brien
