In the early morning sunlight of Wednesday December 31, 2014; a beautiful soul began a new and exciting journey. With his wife Frankie beside him, and family around him, Norman William Bradt said `Good-bye and hello`. Born in Marter Township on September 1, 1919 to Stanley Roy Bradt and Ellen Agnes (Jones). Norman was pre-deceased by his mother and father, sister Ila (Sid) Wallace, brothers James (Chris) Bradt and Ronald (Joyce) Bradt. He is survived by two brothers Earl (Doris) Bradt and Harold (Jean) Bradt. Norm leaves behind his beautiful bride of 73 years `Frankie` Pearl (Peden) and six children. Marlene Bradt/Duffield, Cherry (Bill) Dennis, Lyn (Homer) Derosier, Kim (Michelle) Bradt, Jinny (John) Wilson, and Robin Bradt. There to greet him on his journey were sons Terry and Perry. Norm also leaves behind ten grandchildren, Bill (Shanon) McMurray, Anne (Howard) Drew, Peggie (Alfred) Saunders, Trevor (Laura) Bradt, Cindy (Jake) Thiesson, Micheal Bradt, Kenny Derosier, Danny (Nicole) Derosier, Melissa Bradt, and Evan Schonfeldt, as well as 12 great grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews. Family has requested a `Celebration of Life` for this World War II veteran, O.N.R. brakeman, and caretaker of 37 years known to all the little faces as `Mr. Bradt`; at a later date, on the shores of Wendigo Lake, at Rainbow`s End. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the kind and caring staff of the Englehart and district Hospital. In honour of Norm`s life, please smile and tell someone you love them! `Let`s go fishing Grampa`.
