NORMA MURRAY,

2021

MURRAY, Norma M. (née Gibson) – It is with profound sorrow that we must bid an earthly farewell to Norma Margaret Murray who passed away on March 31, 2010 at Teck-Pioneer Residence. Norma, born in Perth, Ontario in 1920, moved to Cobalt in 1923 and then to Kirkland Lake in 1937. Her parents Margaret and Ira Gibson, her loving husband Roy, daughter Suzanne, sister Jane and brother-in-law Bud McLellan predecease her. Norma is survived by her children Francis (Paula), Lynn (Doug) Elliott and Keith (Sharon). Norma was the best ever “Nan” to Rob (Natasha) Murray, Erin (Martin) Robillard and Katy and Kimberly Elliott. How they will miss her! Emily and Megan Murray and Veronica, Liam and Norah Robillard are Norma’s little great grandchildren. Norma is also survived by her sister Verne McLeod (Laurie and D’Arcy) and niece Roberta Jordan and nephew Dan McLellan. Always in Norma’s thoughts were Kluane, mother to Rob and Erin, and Ed, husband to Suzanne. And to Norma’s extended family, good friends and loving staff at Teck Pioneer Residence, how dear you have become to Norma, and us, in making her one of your own. She had a gentle soul, a loving heart and a strong faith. Norma was a true G.E.M. A Celebration of Norma’s life will be held on what would have been her 90th birthday, July 17, 2010 from the “Teck-Hughes” Chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Susan Berlingeri Officiating. A donation to T.P.R. in Norma’s name will ensure that others may enjoy the quality and enjoyment of life that was Norma’s experience. With thanks. Cheers Mom!Offer Condolence for the family of Norma Murray
