MacDONALD, Neil Kenneth – Neil was surrounded by his family and friends as he passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Neil grew up in Gore Bay on the Manitoulin Island . He had a long career at the Adam’s Mine followed by Canadian Tire in shipping and receiving. He loved music and enjoyed playing for all to hear. He was a loving husband and father, one who will be missed and cherished by all who knew him. Neil is survived by his loving wife Rose (née Kyle); his children Meredith Dumas (Gilles), Meghan Sipos (Larry), Mylee MacDonald (Scott Smith), Morgan MacDonald; his stephchildren Chad Goodman and Laura Wylie; his grandchildren Jarrett, MacKenzie, Anyssa and great grandchildren Makayla and Carter. Neil was the dear brother of Alouise Hansen and Christina Racine. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews who dearly loved him. He was predeceased by his parents Neil and Marvel; his loving wife Sydney MacDonald (nee Clarke); his siblings Kathleen, William, MaryAnn, Roger, Norm, Glenda, Linda and Dianna. Cremation has taken place at FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE. Celebration of Neil’s life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Encore Club. Donations in Neil’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (55 St. Clair Avenue West, Suite 500, Toronto, ON M4V 2Y7).Offer Condolence for the family of Neil Kenneth MacDonald
