To the Mattson family, please accept my condolence. At times like this, words are hard to find, but I hope this short message from the Bible brings you a little comfort. God promises a time when sickness and death will be a thing of the past. (Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 25:8) Under his Kingdom rule, which we pray for daily, (Matthew 6:10), these promises will be fulfilled and Muriel will be resurrected (Acts 24:15) to enjoy His promises. I hope the thought of seeing and hugging Muriel again eases your pain in the days ahead.

Dear Susan and Tracy: My deepest condolances on the loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful person and lovely to work with. I will always remember Muriel and your Dad picking me up on those cold winter walks to work from Federal, with Ben scraping the inside of the windshield the whole way there with one hand and driving with the other. I am sorry I was not able to attend Muriel’s visitation and service but am thinking of you. Sincerely, Cathy
