It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden death of Mr. Miles McMillan, at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Sunday, July 12th, 2015 at the age of 63 years. He was predeceased by his parents Norma & William McMillan and brothers Donald & Dave McMillan. Miles is survived by his loving wife Emy; children Matthew McMillan, Tracy McMillan, Shelly McMillan & Tanya Howard; step daughter Maricel Almendra; brother Bryan (Audrey) McMillan of Sudbury and many nieces & nephews. He will be deeply missed by his longtime best friend Frank (Wanda) Kurowski. The family will welcome relatives and friends at the French Family Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 2:00 – 3;45 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 p.m. with Fr. Mitch Sliwa officiating. Cremation will follow the service.Offer Condolence for the family of Miles Frederick McMillan

Miles was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Canada in 1954, his parents were neighbours of my uncle George Hodgson in Burwash, Ont. Miles was only 2 years old at the time, a rascal with a garden hose. My deepest sympathies to his wife and br.other Bryan

i was the one who took care of miles during his first visit in manila long time ago. i was his tour guide and his side kick. i grieve for the death of my friend. my brother in law. you are such a good guy miles. rest peacefully with HIM…. our condolences.
