GAUTHIER, Mike “Little Bopper” – Passed away peacefully at Blanche River Health – Kirkland Lake Site on Tuesday July 18, 2023 with family at his side.
Some of Mike’s hobbies were reading, watching hockey, and singing karaoke. Many may remember Mike singing at the many pubs and hotels in Kirkland Lake.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Gracia (née Ladouceur) and Albert Gauthier; his siblings Murray (Shirley) Byam, Albertine, Marguerite, Lucienne, and René as well as his daughter Theresa Gauthier.
He is survived and forever loved by his wife, Donna, his children Raymond (Lynn), Mishko, Marcel, Tiffany (Neal), Mitchell; his stepchildren April Brace and Robert Mills; his grandchildren Angelina, Charlie, Mikey, Carson; his great grandchildren William, Ashlyn, and his dear sister Gertrude (late Ted) Bolger.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has been arranged with Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative

I was shocked to see as I was looking in the obits about Mike's passing. He really loved to do his karaoke and liked being around people. I only knew Mishko as we went to school together and his brother Raymond. I'm sorry for the whole family but just know he is in a good place. RIP MIKE

I have fond memories of music and bartending, life lessons and laughs from your father. He was a tough and hard working entrepreneureal man, a very industrious person with limitless skills... and he was one heck of an entertainer. I'll miss him, and his infectious laugh and smile. As his cousin, I have many fond memories of Mike as teenagers when my family visited my aunt Grace and family, I remember the dances and the music and visiting Mike at his hotel where he and a friend of mine did karaoke as an adult.

My condolences to everyone.l was a friend of Mike's from back in the 50s.There was a whole gang of us that hung around together....most of the gang have passed before him.l am sure they are all playing their guitar &singing away right now ....no more pain & no more worries.He will be missed by many....RIP my friend...till we meet again...say hi to the gang for me.
