Michael Paul Yawney,

MICHAEL PAUL YAWNEY,

2021

YAWNEY, Michael (1950 – 2016)Mike Yawney left us this past Sunday following complications from a surgery in Toronto. Our hearts so ache for his loving wife Sherry and family Cheryl (Josh) and Shawn. Mike was a beautiful, kind and loving soul who always gave so much of his time and himself for others. He welcomed all into his home with open arms, whether he just met you for the first time or knew you from the days of growing up in VTown. Our hearts are truly saddened, for Mike left us way too soon. But it’s all the wonderful memories that we shared, that are forever etched in our hearts, that will carry us through this very difficult and heartbreaking time. Here’s “cheers” to you, Mike. Mike’s family would like to extend a warm welcome to friends and extended family at the FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM (111 Burnside Dr. Kirkland Lake, ON, P2N 3L1) for a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (670 Airport Rd., Unit 206, Timmins, ON., P4P 1J5).Offer Condolence for the family of Michael Paul Yawney

Dearest Sherry, Cheryl and Shawn: Our deepest condolences are sent your way in the loss of your beloved husband and loving father, Mike. Our hearts are truly saddened with the loss of a beautiful friend and a “brother” to us. One that he so willingly gave his time to us but such a huge part of all those wonderful memories that we all shared. Will truly miss him out fishing on Labyrinth Lake and spending hours at the cottage with us. Ohhh the laughter and giggles the four of us shared…too many to count. Please know that we are keeping all of you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Luv and special ((hugs)

It is with a sad heart I write this note. So many happy memories shared with “uncle” Mike and “aunt” Sherry. Thank you for always making us feel welcome and sharing your home with us. I remember discovering I was afraid of heights during our ride up the CN Tower.

You will be deeply missed. Mike was such a wonderful person and I will always remember his caring and warm nature. He always had a smile on his face. Having spent many days of my youth in his home and up North, I will fondly remember him as ensuring we had a great time and were well-fed. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories that I was able to share with you and your family. Thinking of you, Julia Green
