STEPHENSON, Michael Gordon – With deep sorrow the family of Michael Gordon Stephenson announces his passing on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Kirkland & District Hospital in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Shirley; dear father of Michelle; Loving brother of Martin, Cindy and Kevin Ross; beloved uncle of Ashleigh and Shannon Ross; and dearly missed by close friends. Michael was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Rhena Stephenson. Raised in Ancaster, Ontario Michael moved to Kirkland Lake six years ago. Michael will be remembered for his passion for the outdoors, his love of fishing and ATV riding. In accordance with Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place to be followed be a private family memorial.
