It is with deep sadness that we announce Michael’s passing at the Kirkland & District Hospital on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Eileen; his children Joshua Ryan Bond and Shannon Kimberly Bond as well as his beautiful granddaughter. Michael is survived and lovingly remembered by his brother Merrill Jr. (Karen), Darwin and Stephen. Also survived by his mother Marilyn and his step mother Grace; 6 nieces and nephews; many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his father Merrill in 2008. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Museum of Northern History (2 Chateau Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON.) commencing at 2:00 p.m. followed by light refreshments. Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the West Park Health Centre Foundation (P.O. Box 37208, Toronto, ON., M7Y 6M1). I lost touch with my Cousin “Mike” quite a few years ago and it was shocking to hear of his Passing. My condolences to his Family and I will upload more photos of Michael soon.
