I am so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I have such great memories of Macassa, and Mike was a very important part of them. He taught me so much about mining, safety, WSIB, and computers +++. I will always remember his original sense of humour. We did have some fun back then.

One of my favourite Uncle Mike times was the time that he took Barb and I to the range… I think I may have been like 12 or something. Once we got there he let me use one of the 22cal pistols, (he had quite a few before all the “gun registry crap”. Then he looked at me and with his “chuckle” he asked if I wanted to try the big gun… as he handed me the 9mil… my shoulder still hurts Take it easy up there Uncle Mike, and at least they’ll finally have an IT guy!
