With deep sadness we announce the passing of a devoted family man, Maurice Roy at the Kirkland & District Hospital with his loving family at his side, on May 17, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Maurice was one of 16 children born to the late Rosa and Donat Roy. He was born on November 7, 1933 in Armagh, Comté de Bellechasse, Quebec. Maurice is forever loved and deeply missed by his wife of 55 years Beatrice, (nee Gagnon); his four children, Claudia (Claude) Charbonneau of Englehart, Lise Roy of Gatineau, Roger Roy (Kim Bannick) of Englehart, Sylvie Roy (Bruno Dube) of Matachewan; his grandchildren Patrick (Rhonda), Marc (Katie), Melina (Pascal), Carl, Mitchell (Amber), Dustin (Cam), Jaimee (Alex), Travis, Miles, Colin, Chantal (Shane), Shane (Ginger); his precious great grandchildren Nathan, Joshua, Aubree, Zander, his K9 best friend and companion Foxy as well as numerous brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Maurice’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kirkland & District Hospital Foundation.Offer Condolence for the family of Maurice Roy
