SAYLOR, Mary

In loving memory of Mrs. Mary Saylor who passed away at the Extendicare Nursing Home in Haileybury on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 92. Mary was born in New Liskeard on January 10, 1925 to George Wallace and Anna Ruth Hayward. She married Percy Saylor on October 16, 1948 in Welland County. Mary enjoyed spending time volunteering for the Canadian Cancer Society, making quilts for family, friends and strangers and reading books. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Percy and brothers and sisters Betty Christianson (Fred), Elsie Taylor Wadge (Percy & Fred), George Wallace, Jean Carpentier (Henry), William Wallace, Ann Willard Spencer (Raymond & Wes), Joseph Wallace, Grace Young (Thomas), and Isabelle Willard, brother-in-laws Walter Tomchick and Les Wilson. Mary will be missed by her sons Raymond, John Andrew (Janet Geraldine) and Gordon (Denise), her 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren,her sisters Margaret Tomchick Wilson and Ruth Smith (Andy)and many nieces and nephews. As per her wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
