MEDIG, Mary Agnes Alva (née Meany) – It is with deep sadness that we announce Alva’s passing on Sunday, June 21st, 2015 at the Kirkland & District Hospital. Alva is predeceased by her parents Michael and Agnes (née Kelly) Meany as well as her husband Stan in 1982. Alva will be dearly missed and forever loved by her daughters Joan (Bill) Dickie of Komoka, Pat (André) Fortin of Cobourgh and her son Jerry Medig of Larder Lake. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Nola (Bill) Nikols of Aurora, Dr. Nadine Dickie (James Perry) of Port Elgin, Carole (Bob) Carroll of Oshawa, Matt (Lorri) Dickie of London, JoAnne (Greg) Parker of Brocklin and Alva’s precious great grandchildren Ryan, Ella, Alexander, Joel, Adam, Josh, Julia, Cameron and Zoe. The family will welcome friends at the FRENCH FAMILY FUNERAL HOME (111 Burnside Drive, Kirkland Lake, ON P2N 3L1) on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. from Our Lady Of The Lake Parish, Larder Lake. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady Of The Lake Parish (49 – 4th Avenue, Larder Lake, ON P0K 1L0). In lieu of flowers, donations to Shrine of the Rosary and of Saint Jude (3980 Saint Denis Road, Montreal, Quebec, H2W 2M3) would be greatly appreciated.Offer Condolence for the family of Mary Agnes Alva Medig
