Marjorie Fry,

MARJORIE FRY,

2021

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Marjorie Fry on August 25, 2016 at Extendicare Kirkland Lake at the age of 91. Loved ones were by her side. She was predeceased in 2006 by her beloved husband Bruce (62 1/2 years of marriage). She was also predeceased by her parents Warren & Mildred Rose, brothers Donald, John (Connie) Rose, brothers-in-law Earl (Jean) Fry, Robert Fry and sisters-in-law Madeline Blythe (Fry) & Patricia Adkins (Fry). Marjorie will be dearly missed by her children Susan Lysiwskyj (Randy Bukovec) & Steven Fry (Kathy Evans). She was a very special “Gram” to grandchildren Chris Lysiwskyj (Brooke), Kara Lysiwskyj (Nick Anagnostou), Krysta Fry (Kevin Stanlake), Corey Fry (Kelsey Boutin) and Great “Gram” to Emma, Nathan, Nicholas and Nolan Lysiwskyj. Also survived by brothers-in-law Lorne Blythe, Stan (Barb) Fry and sister-in-law Marion Fry and fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews of the Fry and Rose families.
Marjorie was a very gentle, pleasant, kind person to everyone she met. She had a “Heart of Gold”, a beautiful smile and always saw the positive in people/situations. She was a wonderful role model to her family. She loved to sew, crochet, knit, cook and make afghans. These activities brought her much enjoyment throughout her life, but her family brought her the greatest joy.Service Details

Dear Sue, Steve, Chris & Kara. I am sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Although I had never met her, I always heard such good things about her. I am sending Angels and healing hugs to help you through your difficult time. Make sure to help each other with good memories of the times you had with her. We’re so sad for your loss! Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Neil & Cathy Retty, March 1, 2021

Our condolences to you Susan and Steven and your families. Aunt Marjorie was the last surviving member of the 3 siblings, our parents and the matriarch of the Rose family. The 3 of them; my dad Don, Aunt Marjorie and Uncle John were a close knit family that were always there for each other. Our last visit to Kirkland lake leaves us with some great memories reminiscing with your mom and dad. They shared many stories with us. The timing of that trip was perfect. A year later would have been too late.
