In loving memory of Mrs. Marilyn Thorne who passed away at Englehart & District Hospital, Monday, May 02, 2016 at the age of 65. Marilyn did a variety of work with cleaning and the restaurant industry. Marilyn was always in touch with family and friends with good conversations. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Marilyn loved quilting, loved birds and animals and lived her life with no regrets & lived it Fully! Always happy and always willing to give a helping hand. She was a realist and didn`t care about wealth, she cared about living and being with family and friends. She lived in every moment. Pre-deceased by her parents Lawrence McLaughlin and Frances Quaranta nee Stevens and her sister Debbie McLaughlin. She is survived by her husband Leonard Kant, children James Johnston and his wife Shelly & Doug Thorne and his wife Spring. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Cassandra, Megan, Joey, Zak, Tristan, Aiden; great grandchildren Keyden, Preston & Jocelyn and her Siblings: Sharon Haseley (Richard), Anne Corrigan, Rick McLaughlin (Kathy), Patrick McLaughlin (Gail) and Keith Lauzon (Josiane) and also by her nieces and nephews: Andrea Haseley, Katherine Corrigan, Samantha Warman-McLaughlin, Brad McLaughlin, Lisa McLaughlin, Sara Mykytuik, Megan McLaughlin, Hannah McLaughlin, Bailey McLaughlin, Owen Lauzon, Daxton Lauzon and by many cousin and many friends. The family of the late Mrs. Marilyn Thorne will have a `Celebration of Life` Service in Niagara Falls on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Time TBA.
