PAIEMENT, Mariette
In loving memory of Mrs. Mariette Marie Rose (Deslandes) Paiement of Earlton, who passed away at the Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury, after a very short illness, surrounded by her family, on Friday, December 6th, 2019 at the age of 81. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Ambroise Paiement, her parents, Daniel and Laurette Deslandes, her sister Denise Grimard and her brothers Léo-Paul and Jean Deslandes as well as by her grandchild Philippe Miller. She is survived by her loving children Carole (Bob) Miller, Aline Bakhuis, Ginette (Tim) Lefebvre, Mylène Paiement and Patrick (Jennifer) Paiement. She will always be cherished by her children, her sister and brother, her 14 grandchildren, her 11 great-grand-children as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mariette was part of the organization “Les Filles d’Isabelle†and was very involved in the church community. She was devoted to God and her family. She was a very hard worker, loved to walk, to read, to sing, to draw, to work in her garden, to clean and to cook. She always wanted to feed anyone who walked through the door. The family of the late Mrs Mariette Paiement will receive friends at the St-Jean Baptiste Parish Hall, Earlton, Tuesday, December 10 from 2 - 4 pm and from 7 - 9 pm and Wednesday, December 11 from 9h30 – 10h45. A funeral mass will be held at St-Jean Baptiste Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 11 at 11:00, Father Germain Turcotte officiating.
