PLANTE, Marie Jeanne

Marie-Jeanne Plante (née Benoit) passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on Saturday, January 21st, at the age of 66 years. Marie-Jeanne was predeceased by her husband Louis Plante, and her parents Fernand and Marguerite (née Rolando) Benoit. She was also predeceased by her sisters Marie-Claire Benoit(twin) and Aline Benoit. She is survived by her son Roger Plante (Tracy Gates) and her daughter Monique Plante-Peddie (Paul Peddie),her grandchildren Hazel, Tye, Chloé, Louis and Emily and her sibblings Raymond (Lise), Roger, Louise and Gilbert and many nieces and nephews. Marie Jeanne loved to laugh, joke and have a good time. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Rest in peace, Mom, we love you. Please join the family at Église Sacré-Coeur in New Liskeard on Saturday, February 18th, at 10 am. Service will commence at 11 am. Father Richard Ngoy officiating. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
