Margaret (Meg) Wright was loved by her husband Dick (deceased), and her children Sally (Don), Andy (Allie), Steve (Lian), Susan (George), David (deceased) and Roger (Molly). Also loved by her grandchildren Gerry (Lisa), Rebecca (Bob), Carlee (Phil), Emma (Shea), Jake (Emma), Conor and Kelsey. She will be missed by her great grandchildren Jonas, Lia (deceased), Lily, Dorian, Georgia, Scottie Rose and Collins, as well as the dogs Cricket, Jake and Isaac.
As well as being a very loving, supportive, and involved mother, Meg was a remarkably loved and talented woman who devoted countless hours creating amazing costumes for various local organizations, Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren, and elaborate dollhouses to donate to a child at Christmas.
She was a great cook and during holiday dinners we would often have new faces around the dining table as she would not allow anyone to be alone during the holidays.
Meg knit the most stunning sweaters and always took pride in her beautiful garden.
She worked at the medical center for many fulfilling years and was loved by both patients and staff.
The family would like to thank Dr. Moore for everything you did for Meg. Thank you to the wonderful staff at TPR — the office staff, nurses, PSWs, physiotherapists, and dietary and cleaning staff for making Mom feel welcome and comfortable in her new home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

I am sorry to read of Meg’s passing. I found her to be a very kind and caring person both personally and professionally. Rest In Peace Meg
I have fond memories of both your mum and dad from many years back when the old hospital existed in Kirkland Lake. Your dad had a wicked sense of humour when he worked in the ER, especially in the middle of the night when the staff were all exhausted. Your mum was always so kind and pleasant. I talked with her on the phone many, many times when she worked at the medical center and she was so helpful. So sorry for the loss of another wonderful Kirkland Lake resident. Sending sympathy from out here in British Columbia.

I am saddened to learn of your mother’s passing. She was so kind and easy to talk to. She had a mother’s way about her. I have many fond memories of her and know she will be greatly missed. Thinking of you all during this very sad and difficult time.
Condolences on the recent loss of your mother. Its been many years but every Spring I fondly recall the many music festival practices at the Wright house with David and others. Mrs. Wright, while doing 100 other things (it wasn't called multi-tasking then), was hidden somewhere in the house listening to us and providing coaching and inspiration to make us all better musicians. We didn't know it then but all our ribbons were a result of her guidance, even though the VW Bus didn't start a few times and we almost missed our start time. And David always had the best Halloween costume!
Thanks to Mrs. Wright for opening up her home to David's friends.
Your mom and dad were such a big part of my musical childhood and work at the pool - I have wonderful memories of their involvement in musical concerts and shows, of laughter and song.
Please accept my most sincere condolences. In their younger lives they were actively involved in the community and added much by sharing their talents and knowledge. They will be missed. Laurie

I have known Meg for many years. I first met her when she weighed my first born daughter 40+ years ago, and had the pleasure of sharing beautiful stories while I cut her hair. Both she and Dick fascinated me with their knowledge & stories and I enjoyed visiting her at her home until a short time ago.
Rest in peace Meg! You are with your true love now, pain free. I will miss you❤
