In memory Mrs. Margaret McChesney who passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Lodge on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the age of 91. She is survived by her children Ray McChesney (Huguette) of New Liskeard, Susan Haliburton (Jim) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Lynn Holt (Randy) of Calgary, Alberta and Donna Lenardon (Roy) of Creston, B.C., her grandchildren Lucia Haliburton, Chandler Haliburton (Lana), Alana Holt, Ashley Holt, Amber Holt (Craig), Derek McChesney (Helen), Jody McChesney (Amanda), Vincent Lenardon (Aiofe) and Beth Lenardon (Scott) and 6 great grandchildren, her sisters Carrie Birtch, Marilyn Buchanan (Dave), her sisters-in-law Erika Brown, Theresa Brown and Irene Brown-Shaver and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Guy McChesney in 1977, her parents Waldo & Christena Brown, her brothers Lloyd, Mervyn, Norris, Eddie, Bob & Ted Brown and her sister Bessy Richards. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wellington St. New Liskeard, Rev. George Paraskevopoulos officiating. If desired, donations to the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the CNIB will be gratefully acknowledged. The family would like to send a big heartfelt thank you to Dr. Don Davies and the staff at the Temiskaming Lodge for their excellent care and compassion.
