I used to stop by Margarets apartment in Ottawa on rare occasions without the rest of my family, just to say hi and probably use the bathroom after hanging out downtown. She was always so happy to see me and would welcome me in. I even brought a friend on occasion. She’d always have some sort of sweet treat to eat and lots of stories to share – often including her very eccentric neighbor, Michelle. I think those visits somehow made us both feel special in a way. She would always try to give me something on my way out. One day it was a little Delft Blue figurine that she said would bring me good luck when cooking! I still keep it in my kitchen today! I’ll always remember her as a very generous, happy and classy lady! Rest in peace Margaret. Love, Donalyn.

Richard, Diane and Lori our thoughts and condolences are with you at time. Jerri and I have very fond memories of your mother. She was such a good friend to our late mother. We remember her fondly as being fun, strong and a very gutsy lady. May she rest in peace with the rest of the Ottawa Valley gang.
