MENARD, Madeleine

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Madeleine Menard on Apr 12 ^th , 2023 at the age of 89 at Temiskaming Hospital.

Madeleine was predeceased by her husband Phillippe Menard. She is survived by her children Gerard (Annie Pellrin), Jeanne (Gord), Denis (Sue), her sisters Cecile Gauthier, Pauline Boucher and brother Andre Benoit; her grandchildren, Chloe Menard (Yannick), Nicolas Menard (Carlos), Audrey Menard (Vincent), Marc Bedard (Micheline), Andre Bedard, Lynn Bedard (Chris), Ryan Menard as well as her great grandchildren Laurent, Aly, Jules, Phillippe and Payton.

Madeleine had a passion for gardening, flowers, baking, playing cards and loved to spoil everyone with her beautiful quilts and weaving.

A sincere thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff of the Temiskaming Hospital for the care she received. We also wish to thank her family for the visits during her stay in the hospital.

The family will welcome friends and family at Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, Perrin Chapel on Thursday, May 4 ^th , 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5 ^th , 2023 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Parish.

Matante Pauline and Monique along with the whole Boucher family want to offer our deepest condolences for the loss of your Mom. Madeleine offered us her home when our Dad passed away--I believe there was half of our family crammed into her little house. Her and Jeanne cooked and hosted lots of relatives while we were there. We appreciated this more than words can say
It was a privilege to help her during her first two weeks in palliative care at the hospital and I will hold every funny story she told us in my heart to remember her by
She has earned her place in heaven and may she rest there in peace.
