PELETTE, Mabel Fredena Freddie
In loving memory of Mrs. Mabel Fredena `Freddie` Price Pelette, of Earlton, who passed away at Englehart & District Hospital, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the age of 94. Born in Cobalt, she played baseball for the `Northern New Liskeard Marvels`. She moved to Val d`or in 1939 where she married William `Bill` Pelette in 1940. As a couple they enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting and fishing though-out their time together. After retirement she enjoyed being outdoors with her grandkids, travelling though-out Canada and wintering in Florida. Pre-deceased by her sisters; Emma, Lillian, Minnie, Jackie and her brothers Jim and Bud. She is survived by her husband William `Bill` Conroy Pelette, daughters Norma Pelette Ross, (pre-deceased by Norma`s late husband, Jean Claude Ross), Billie Pelette Gaudette and her husband Henry Gaudette., her grandchildren James, Ronnie, Dale, Daniel, Donavan, Darren, Jason and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Tennyson, Nicole, Nathan, Taryn, Stephanie, Shane, Kim, Alexie, Yan and great great grandson Tyler. The family of the late Mrs. Mabel Fredena `Freddie` Pelette will receive friends at the Living Way Pentecostal Church, 142 Fourth Ave., Englehart, on Thursday, May 21, from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Pastor Jamie Nelsen officiating. Burial to take place at the Silverland Cemetery, Cobalt at a later date. In memory contributions to Temiskaming Hospice Palliative Care Network at the Englehart & District Hospital will be greatly appreciated.
