In loving memory of Mrs. Lyla Aubert who passed away at Northview Nursing Home, Englehart, on Monday, July 04, 2016 at the age of 94. Lyla operated her own hairdressing shop for many years in Englehart. She was a member of the Legion Branch 104 Ladies Auxillery. Lyla loved to fish! She loved her grandchildren! Lyla was blind for many years, her great grandson Devin said `She couldn`t see it, but she knew she had a good life.` She was much loved. Pre-deceased by her husbands Claire Ferguson & Jack Aubert, her brother Dennis Peever and her sisters Winnie Wilson, Vi Farmer, Ellen Wood and Florence Hulcoop. She is survived by her 3 children Brian Ferguson (Vicki), Karen Wells & Judy McGrath (Harold); 6 grandchildren Jared Wells (Marni), Stacey Wells (John), Katy Ferguson (Josh), Kurtis Ferguson (Jody), Chris McGrath & Kelly Brown (Joel). She will also be sadly missed by her 5 great grandchildren Justine, Owen, Dylan, Devin and Lochlan, her sisters Eve Ellis & Lorna Roach (Flloyd), brothers Dick Peever & Laurie Peever and by many nieces and nephews. In keeping with the family`s wishes, there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be at a later date. In memory contributions to the Legion Branch 104, Englehart, Northview Nursing Home Activity Fund or the CNIB will be greatly appreciated.
