1928 - 2010

It is with great sadness that the family of Lucy Evelyn (Wreggitt) Phillips announces her passing at Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place, on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the age of 82, after a trying battle with cancer. Lucy was predeceased by her first husband Merle Elwood Wreggitt, as well as daughters Cindy and Patricia, step-daughter Mary Christie, brothers George and Stewart and parents Joseph and Catherin Bates. She is survived by her husband Cyril Joseph (Bus) Phillips, her children Elwood (Elizabeth) Wreggitt, Nancy (Marc) Rondeau, Bruce (Melanie Milne) Wreggitt and Noella (Rod) Rousseau; grandchildren Cindy, Lauralee, Pamela (Chris), Kimberly, Elwood Jr., Tyra, Nena (Marty), Blain (Sarah), Nathan, Anthony, Milne and Nyla: great grandchildren Michael, Patrick, Crystal, Braydon, Tyler, Jessica, Jeremy, Hayden, Zackery, Braydon, Cierra, Leeam, Helena: great great grandchildren Haylee and Cali: siblings Wilbert Bates, Edna Mills, Mary Scott and Dorothy Konopaski as well as many nieces and nephews: her step-children are Carol (Bob) Lennox and family, Fred (Linda) Phillips and family, Dixie Phillips, Roy (Pauline) Phillips and family, Pam (Neil) McKenny and family. The family of the late Mrs. Lucy (Wreggitt) Phillips will receive friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, Englehart, Monday, July 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home on Tues. July 13 at 11 am. Pastor Stephen Wuerch officiating. In memory contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated.
