Lucie passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Teck Pioneer Residence at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her husband Roger and her daughters-in-law Laurie and Diane. She is survived by her four sons; Robert (Bonnie), Albert, Michel and Danny (Sharlene), her grandchildren; Aaron (Kristal), Eric (Dana), Amanda (Levi), Corey, Veronica, Abby and Rebecca, her great grandchildren; Chloe, Aiden, Drake, Karli, Gabe, Lucas, Elleigh, Charlotte, Lennox, Andie and Hannah. Also survived by her brother Lawrence Dupont (Joyce) and sister Irene Gauthier.
The family would like to thank the staff at Teck Pioneer Residence for the wonderful care they provided.
In keeping with Lucie’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Timiskaming Funeral Cooperative, French Family Chapel in Kirkland Lake. If desired, a donation in memory of Lucie can be made to
Ronald McDonald House, 407 Smyth Road, Ottawa, ON, K1H 8M8 or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.

Lucie was a wonderful lady, always had a wonderful smile, so sorry for your loss.
We are so sorry to see that your mother passed away. A neighbour for years and good friends with my mother, we would run into each other before she became sick, and always chat about the kids and what was going on with everyone. She will be missed. Condolences to all the family.
We had the pleasure of getting to know Nan through Eric and Dana. She was a lovely lady. And her smile infectious. She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Lucy will be missed. We are sorry for your loss of beautiful soul

I have known Lucie for many years and i am so sorry to hear about her passing. Alzheimer's is such a horrible disease that has claimed far to many lives. Lucie enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family and grand children until this dreadful disease over took her, she will be missed by many. Go in peace Lucie
Sincere condolences to the DuPont/Charbonneau Family on the passing of Lucie. I grew up 3 doors away from the DuPont family, so I have known Lucie most of my life. She was always a warm, friendly lady, always ready for a nice chat . She will be missed by many. Bless you all.

Please except our most sincere condolences on your loss. We have had many visits with Lucy both whiile tooting around town and also at our cottage with her "driving Miss Daisy" partner in crime Shirley. Always enjoyed her beautiful little giggle as she and Shirley told of their antics about town. Such a gracious lady Lucy was. Remembering her with such fondness.
Lucy was special for her warm charm and friendly way of being. It was good to know Lucy m:and enjoy her warm smiling way of being, year upon year.
My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Lucie at Teck Pioneer Residence for many years. She was such a hard worker, happy go lucky lady and eager to help. She was well respected by the residents and staff.

Lucy was such a great lady, and a cousin by marriage , I’m a cousin of Roger,from the New Liskeard area,years ago I met Robert I think it was , on the train going to Toronto , but didn’t we were related as we started talking,we found out, we were,not sure if he remembers,I would like to offer my condolences to the family
Sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. Your folks were my very first landlords and gave me advice, love and a place to learn. I also got to watch you guys grow up. Worked with your mom for a number of years at Chez Marie. She was a gem and always always had a smile. She will be missed. Love you guys. Michael French
Lucid was a lovely lady and always a gracious hostess to the Moose Rock Gang. In honour of her memory Gord Collett, Abe Butler, Bill Holmes and Pauline Atkinson made a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association
