Lloyd Irwin Wilson died February 15, 2017 at the Temiskaming Hospital. Born March 12, 1925 to the late Mary Alice Irwin Wilson and Leonard Branch Adamson Wilson, Lloyd spent his early years in Cobalt prior to moving to New Liskeard. He was the loving husband of Thelma Pritchard who died February 15, 2012. He was also predeceased by his sister Doris and her husband Bill Fleming. He is survived by his nephew Bill Fleming of Renfrew, his wife Diane and their children as well as his niece, Alice Fleming of Vancouver, B.C., his sister-in-law Anne Pritchard and niece Patty of Ottawa. Teaching, reading, sailing, tennis, dogs, music and song, and painting were Lloyd’s passions. He was a devoted member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church in New Liskeard. His faith was central to his being. Lloyd was a fine man and an inspiration to others and likewise was enriched by his many dear friends and his numerous community connections. He will be missed and remembered with deep fondness.
