MATTIAS, Linda (1951-2022)

We regret to inform you that Linda passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital on May 11, 2022.

Linda is predeceased by her parents, John Noble Dixon Carpenter, and Bernice Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband John of 44 years and her children; Donna (Travis Becker) and John (Tammi McKenzie) Mattias as well as her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Linda was a beautiful soul who loved the Lord, her family, and her community.  She touched the lives of many and will be missed greatly.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

John Sr. John Jr. and Donna and all the grand kids

We are so sad at the passing of this wonderful wife, mother, grandmother. Linda was the kindest soul I have ever had the pleasure of calling friend. She looked after our son Shain with so much love and she helped us become part of the community. If ever I was feeling sad or down a visit with Linda always made me feel so much better. She saw the good in everyone and had the most positive outlook on life. Cole and I loved our movie dates with Linda and the book talks. Busty, you are always in our hearts as are your children and grandchildren. Hugs and so much love to you all.
