LILLIAN LAWRENCEAugust 9, 1920 – December 23, 2014 It is with broken hearts and cherished memories that we said goodbye to our dear Mother on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 94.. Mom slipped away peacefully to join her dear, late husband Allan Lawrence and her cherished first-born son Wayne and many other family members who have walked this path before her to the loving arms of our Father in Heaven. She leaves in deep sorrow her children, Bev Lumb (Paul), Lyndon Lawrence (Bev ) and Cindy Vivier (Jess), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandson and many other extended family members. Mom was warm hearted, always giving, never complaining, always appreciative of everything, and had a wonderful sense of humour, which was demonstrated even more so, in these later years. She touched so many hearts and souls of all who came to know her. We will miss you so much dear “Mama” and “Mommy” and “Grandma!” Rest in Peace until we meet again! The family will receive relatives and friends at the French Family Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Lillian will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery. Donations in Lillian’s memory may be made to Myeloma Canada (P.O. Box 326 Kirkland, QC. H9H 0A4). If roses grow in heaven,Lord please pick a bunch for us.Place them in Mommy’s armsAnd tell her they’re from us.Tell her we love and miss her,And when she turns to smile,Place a kiss upon her cheekAnd hold her for awhile.Because remembering he is easy,We do it every day,but there’s an ache within our heartsthat will never go away.Offer Condolence for the family of Lillian Lawrence
