In loving memory of Leo Forget who passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital on Sunday November 21, 2021 at the age of 86.
Leo is survived by sons Terry (Rosanne), Randy (Deborah), Danny (Lulu), 8 grandchildren and 12
great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by siblings Yvonne, Roger, Rolly (Lois), Paul (Denise), Pauline (John).
Leo was predeceased by his wife Nancy, Sister Jeannine Miron, brothers Raymond and Ernie.
Leo was a long time resident of New Liskeard and was known as “The Auctioneer”
At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. If desired, donations may be made directly to Community Cancer Care online at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/community-cancer-care/ or by sending a cheque by mail.
The family would like to thank Dr Logan, Dr Sears, and hospital staff for their professional care and personal service.

Mr. Forget was such a great memory of a past life I miss so much. The auctioneer was a regular part of life with my grandfather who has long since passed. He truly was an iconic person in this lands history, my sincere condolences.

I remember going to Earlton sales barn with my dad and just sit and listen to Leo auction and joke with every one even In later years me and my family went to his auctions just for a outing and to visit and he always made a point of coming over to say hi at some point in the evening

The constant love + support we receive from a Father make him one of the most important persons in our lives. A Father is a best friend, a hero + a provider to his children + his family. A Father’s presence is fundamental. You have been blessed to have had the BEST Father ever! Your personal loss is huge + I pray you find peace in knowing your Father is a legend!

Will always remember the many conversations and laughs your dad and I had at the New Liskeard Golf Club. Will never forget all the time and effort he put into building the outdoor rink in his back yard on Rebecca St. Anything Leo did he always put his heart and soul into it. The community will miss him.

Sorry about Leo he had such a great voice and what a nice guy,I grew up in the area but no longer there still have great memories of the sales barn siting with my dad listening to that amazing man R.I.P Leo.
