Marianne and families
Sorry to hear of your dad passing. Condolences.
It is with deep sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Larry Chenier on April 16, 2024 at the Blanche River Health in Kirkland Lake. Special thanks to Dr. Kurki, the nurses, staff and Ali in ICU.
Predeceased by his wife Marie Rose Chenier, he leaves to mourn his three daughters Carmen Chenier (Roger), Marianne Davidson (Kenny) and Lauraine Chenier-Bellaire (Andy). He will also be missed by his grandchildren Treena Demers (Luc), Melanie Desbiens (Gerry), Jennifer Davidson (Cory), Jamie Davidson (Alex), Jacob Allen (Sabrina), Amanda Allen (Justin) and Roseanne Harvey (Jack). As well as his Great grandchildren Drew (Matt), Alexis, Liam, Charley, Reeve, Chanelle and Darcie, and fifth generation grandson, Hunter.
As long as we can remember, he was an avid hockey player, bowler and curler with many trophies to prove his performance, but his most prized achievement was his family.
We will always remember Larry for his generosity, hard working ethics and his love of hunting and fishing. His skill and expertise as a butcher continues to be passed down in the family.
He was also a dedicated member of the Larder Lake Lions Club and Knights of Columbus for 40 plus years.
He stayed proud until his last breath, joking, reminiscing and reminded us, as he always said, “take it easy, make nice”.
He will always be remembered as a Larder legend.

Great memories of your dad as a working colleague in V-town and Larder Lake. RIP Larry
This is such a life-changing difficult time you are all going through. No words can express this feeling of loss. Uncle Larry is resting peacefully. Cherish the memories and live with the love your dad left behind ... forever together, love Monique (Chenier) and John Lingard and family xoxoxo
The sadness I felt hearing about Larry was very, very real. Growing up in Larder and having such a close relationship with your family was a joy. I loved “ Rose and Larry”. Hearing your mother and my mother speak on the phone was hilarious and hearing your Dad and my Dad discuss hockey was a real treat. THE LARDER LEGEND has gone to be with Rose. I am so happy that you all had that recent birthday celebration together.
TAKE IT EASY MAKE NICE!
My thoughts are with you and your family, Carmen. Your dad was such a nice guy with a quick wit and smile when he met you on the street.

We were so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was an awesome gentleman who left a positive footprint on all those blessed enough to know him. May he rest in peace and may his beautiful memories flood the hearts everyone.
As a young teenager, Larry gave me a job at the P&G store in V-town. Stocking shelves, taking care and sorting glass bottle returns and sweeping and washing floors. It was hard work but working for/with Larry was very beneficial to me. I learned proper working attitudes. Thank you Larry.
Our deepest condolences to you and the family. We knew Larry from back in VTown at the grocery store. He was known to many. He was always friendly to everyone. Remember the good times.
