It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laila Orvokki Nupponen (Auranen) with family by her side, on Tuesday September 3rd 2019 at the age of 87 years after a lengthy illness at Extendicare. Laila will be deeply missed by her husband Oliver of 55 years and her children Marlene (Eddie) and Richard. Cherished sister of Helen McCallum, Irja Kopsala (Paavo) and brothers Stanley (Denise) and Leo (Jayne). Also missed by numerous grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, one great-great grandson, nieces and nephews.  After her cremation, the remains with be laid to rest at the Round Lake Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff at Extendicare for their warm and loving care they gave Laila. Offer Condolence for the family of Laila Orvokki Nupponen
