MY GUARDIAN ANGEL,DADDY I will always carry our memories in a pocket close to my heart. You are the kindest and most giving gentleman in the world. The world would be so precious if there were more people like you, Daddy. Your firy spirit and breathtaking smile will never leave this world. Your were never a judge only a leader of great dreams and visions… especially for your family. Even through all your heartaches and tribulations you manage to see the good in everyone. Just remember today, Daddy, when you leave this world…. I, your daughter, Mary will carry the unending torch of light. Whenever I touch someone that person will be touched twice…. Hopefully with the Will and the Power of God this light will bring unity and spirituality to each one of their lives. Daddy, you are the greatest gift that God has given us. I know that you will be with me and everyone you touched over the years. I love you, Daddy and as Uncle Pat would say “God Bless

So sorry to hear of “Con’s” passing. My grandfather (Harvey White) shared many special times together with Con. I also have fond memories of Con stopping by Grandpa’s house, always making me laugh. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Shirley and family, I wish to express my prayers and thoughts at the passing of Uncle Con. Boy, how the memories come flooding back! I noted that Uncle Con died on the feast of the Archangels and was buried today on the memorial of the Guardian Angels. How many times did we think of him in those terms? I think most of us thought more of him as a lovable rascal. May he rest in peace. I know that you will all draw strength from the Hope of our Faith. You will be in my prayers. Remember, as the circle of our family on earth has been made smaller it has been enlarged in heaven. God bless you all.

Father Yvon David Brault, March 1, 2021

To Shirley Connolly and Family! It is with surprise and sadness that I received the news from Glen and Marge Huff that “Con” had passed away! Please accept this e-mail message as an expression of sympathy from myself, my wife and children and all my brothers and sisters who got to know “Con” if not directly, indirectly through Glen and Marge. I’ll always remember “Con” for he was instrumental in bringing me back to Mattawa to teach at St. Anne’s Elementary School in 1968 when he was a member of the local Catholic School Board. It turned out to be a great opportunity for me to return home and help out my mom and dad and my younger brother Brian. It was the beginning of a long career working with children which “Con” was always interested in. I hope our prayers will help comfort you all during this time of sorrow. We will have a mass celebrated in “Con’s” honour at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption in North Bay. With Sincerest Sympathy Ken Janveau and Family

Dear Shirley & Family, I was saddened to learn of Con’s death earlier this week. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Presently, I am in Denver attending a national conference of diocesan vocation directors. As such, I will not be able to be with you for Mass on Thursday morning. I will offer my Mass tomorrow evening at the Cathedral in Denver for the repose of the soul of Con. During these difficult days, may the gift of our faith and the promise and hope of the resurrection be a source of peace and comfort to each of you. God Bless, Fr. John
