To All the Dambrowitz family I just read Jessie’s obituary. What a great life she had with all her wonderful family and friends. I’m sure she touched everyone in Matheson. We’ll always remember her.

Dear Sylvia, We received notice of your Mother’s death, but Mara and I were in New Zealand at the time. Please accept our sincere condolences at her passing. She had a full and busy life, but she always had a smile, and good anecdotes to tell. We visited her every summer when we went to Matheson. She was always glad to see us, and we would reminisce about times gone by. I enjoyed reading her memoir, which painted a picture of life in the north and the hardships, but also good times that people went through. She was a wonderful lady. May she rest in peace. Mirdza, Mara and Aina

Grandma was the lady with class till the very end. She shared so many stories and recipes with me over the years, she was more than just a Grandma, she was a dear friend and I miss her already. Her greatest love was her family and her home which she took great pride in. To the entire family yes you lost a real gem but wow what a life she had. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, I will never forget my time with her. Deepest respect, Anne Malboeuf and family.xo
