BÉDARD, Jenny Bédard

1965 - 2020

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Jenny Bedard. On July 19 th , 2020, Jenny peacefully passed on in her home in New Liskeard, Ontario. Born on August 17 th , 1965, in the steel town of Hamilton, Jenny spent her early years there with her mother and father until her family relocated to Chaput-Hughes, Ontario where she spent most of her adolescence. When it came to Jenny, she was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children more than anything and embraced every moment with them. Jenny especially loved her role as a grandma. She was a noted pillar of strength to those she held close to her heart. Jenny was a loyal soul sister to so many women in her life, and always ready to a good laugh wholeheartedly. With hands that rarely stood still, Jenny was known for using spray nine as her weapon of choice. Her laundry smelt like heaven and there was never a lack of scented sprays that often smelt of vanilla. She always had the magical ability to turn any house into a welcoming home. Jenny put a lot of time and care into special occasions, and treasured hosting Christmas Eve. Beyond her affinity for homemaking, Jenny loved to love people. She was notorious for her willingness to help others. To most people in the community, she was known as the “post-office lady”. Jenny often donated her time to others, delivering meals and bringing so much light to those who struggle during the holiday season. Jenny leaves behind her beloved parents, Paul and Gail (Smith) Bedard, her children, her pride and joy; Justin Sikorski (Ashley Deslaurier), Jamie-Lee Sikorski (Ryan Barkhouse), Payton Beaudoin, and, her adored grandchildren, Jayda and Kane Fraser, her best buds Mister Rocky Pups, along with granddogs Presley and Harley. The Family will be having a private celebration of life and thanks you for your support during this time. In lieu of flowers, they ask that donations be made in Jenny’s name to the local food bank.
