PÉPIN, Jeannine

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine (Matteau) Pépin at the age of 88, on May 13, 2022, at the Temiskaming Lodge.  She was an avid gardener; she was always in the garden tending to her flowers. She liked to bake her famous cookies and her strawberry-rhubarb pie for her family.

She joins her loving husband of 69 years, Charles Pépin (predeceased), her sister Irène and her brother Omer.  She will dearly be missed by her children, Gilles (Claudette) Pépin, Diane Pépin, Suzanne (Larry – predeceased) Crick, Thérèse (René) Lupien, Robert (Germaine) Pépin, her 11 grand-children and her 16 great-grand-children.

She was predeceased by her parents Leonel and Antonia, her sister Irène and her brother Omer.  She leaves in grief her siblings Maurice, Solange, Rosa, Jacqueline, Denise, Marie, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Perrin Funeral Home.  The family would like to thank the personnel at the Temiskaming Hospital, the Centre de Santé and the Temiskaming Lodge, and especially Joanne Presseault and Joti who did an outstanding job taking care of her.

The funeral ceremony will be held at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur Church in New Liskeard at 11:00 on May 27, 2022.
