Jeannine Miron of New Liskeard died April 18, 2010, at the Temiskaming Hospital. She was born in Hilliardton on February 5, 1934, to Lorenzo and Cecilia Forget. She married Edmond Miron in Thornloe on August 31, 1957. Mrs. Miron loved knitting and quilting, she enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing and being with family and friends. She was a member of Eglise Catholique Sacre Coeur, Les Filles d'Isabelle, Union Culturel le Club d'Age d'Or, the Lakeside Seniors Club and Club de Sourire. Mrs. Miron was predeceased by her husband Edmond on February 23, 1989; her parents Lorenzo and Cecilia Forget and brother Raymond Forget. She is survived by her children Michel (Sue), Cecile Aries (Darrel), Claude, Nicole (Keith), Aurele (April), Alain (Peggy), and Huguette Leveille (Pierre); grandchildren Tanya, Chanel, Quaid, Marc, Zachary, Josee, Edmond, Eric, Cassandra, Kaitlyn and Logan; and special friend Maurice Daviau. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard with the service conducted at Eglise Catholique Sacre Coeur by Father Richard Ngoy. Pallbearers were Zachary Léveillé, Edmond Miron, Marco Forget, Robert Forget, Déziré Forget and Luc Proulx. Burial is at the Catholic Cemetery in New Liskeard. Relatives and friends attending the service from out of town came from Welland, Bracebridge, Calgary, North Bay, Larder Lake and Masham, Quebec.
