1936 - 2021

On Monday, November 8, 2021, Jeannine passed away peacefully at the Temiskaming Hospital with family at her side. Jeannine was born on February 16, 1936. She was predeceased by her husband Roger Grandmont.

Jeannine will be lovingly remembered by her children Suzanne (John) Godmaire of New Liskeard, Joanne (late Maurice) Léveillé of Oshawa, Denis (Amanda) Grandmont of Burlington, Danielle (Norm) Remillard of New Liskeard; her cherished grandchildren Maxine Daviau (Johnny), Renée Godmaire, Valérie Léveillé (Marc-André), Nicole Léveillé, Marc Bédard, André Bedard, Lynn Bédard (Chris), Matthieu Remillard, Nathalie Remillard; 4 great grandchildren (Réanne, Cassie, Jesse, Audric) and 1 great great grandchild (Lucas).

Donations in Jeannine’s memory may be made to the Temiskaming Hospital Foundation –Care Close to Home https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/temiskaming-hospital-foundation/campaign/care-close-to-home/  or mail all cheques payable to Temiskaming Hospital Foundation (421 Shepherdson Road, New Liskeard, ON P0J 1P0).

As per Jeannine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to the current pandemic, a private celebration of life will take place.

J’offre mes sincères sympathies à toute la famille. Jeannine était une femme joviale, charitable. Un de mes plus chers souvenirs fut l’offre de Jeannine de s’occuper de Joël le plus vieux de mes enfants à prendre l’autobus lors de sa première année scolaire J’avais trois autres filles , deux qui étaient des bébés jumelles. Ce geste fut tellement apprécié. Quelle beau geste.
