It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, sister, wife, auntie and friend, Jeanne Marie Foran. On May 7th 2011 Jeanne passed away surrounded by love at the Temiskaming Hospital in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario after a brief battle with cancer. Born on November 12 1949 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jeanne was an air force brat until the sudden death of her father in 1958. She resided in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where she finished hair dressing school, she then followed her love of horses to the open country to pursue her passion for barrel racing and start a family. In the early 1980's Jeanne moved to Revelstoke to be closer to her brother and his family where many people would enjoy the talents she brought with her. Those who knew her will remember Jeanne as a very creative lady with talent in music, oil painting, china painting, gardening, hair styling, and anything else she touched. She had a love for antiques and passion for interior design and decorating. Others will remember Jeanne as a true entrepreneur. After relocating Revelstoke Jeanne successfully owned, operated and decorated 3 hair salons, an antiques business, and most recently had become a successful realtor. Following their move to Temagami, Ontario, she and her husband Mike owned and operated (and decorated) a resort lodge. Inspired by the beauty Jeanne once again began to make a name for herself as an artist, this time in oil painting. No one can forget Jeanne's love for life, her love for her family or her endless positive attitude that even cancer couldn't take away. Jeanne is predeceased by her mother Marjorie Jean Clark (Robertson) and father Thomas Wesley Clark. She is survived and sadly missed by her husband Mike, her son Reece/Heidi grandson Julian, her daughter Reina/Barret grandsons Aedyn and Conner. Jeanne is also survived by her big brother Jim/Barb and nephews Shane/Susan, Duncan and Sidney, Wes/Katie, the furbeeze, Kipp/Bre, Atlas,Asia and her youngest nephew Wade as well as her sister Jerilyn and niece Tori.
