Leslie, Dan, Ron, and Gerry, I am so sorry for your loss. I had a wonderful conversation with Jean after mom passed away, when I was writing her obituary. Jean shared some wonderful memories and we had a lovely conversation with lots of laughter. I was grateful to talk to her, and I’m left with such a good memory of her.

To Dan, Jerry and family – seems hard to believe that 21 years have passed since Eugene and I left Kirkland Lake, and our own son is 14 yrs. old, but we will never forget what a wonderful person Jean was. She was a great lady, always a cheerful neighbour in those hot/cold townhouses on Lakeshore where I first met her, and always dedicated to her family and community. May you find comfort in the joy and fond memories she left to so many over the years. Sincerest condolences from Maggie Bah, Eugene Lysiwskyj and our son Anthony.

I wish to extend sincere condolences to the Sorochan family & friends. A lot of my memories of Jean are from baseball fields and hockey arenas, as we raucously cheered on our sons in their sports activities. We had a few good hockey trips as well! Jean has been, and will be missed greatly. I am sending angels to help you through this difficult time. Try to remember all the good times. Love from Diane Doyon
