Dear Irene, Michael, Marc, Lina and families I was sad to hear of Jean passing. I have known Jean for 50 years first as a client and later as a neighbour and a friend at the lake. We had many great parties there and at Raven Mountain ski hill. Jean was a great man, a good friend, he had good work ethics and his family values were second to none. He will be missed by many people not only friends and family also by people whos live he touched in his many years of work. May the many memories be a comfort to you in the days to come

Gerry Desrochers, March 1, 2021

My heart goes out to the family. I am so sorry for your loss. No pain hurts worse than the pain of losing someone that you love. Jean was loved and he will be dearly missed. Again, I am so sorry. Though the pain you’re feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress.” Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, “You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle.” You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. While there is nothing that can take the sting of death away, may you find some comfort in God’s promise to one day “swallow up death forever” (stated at Isaiah twenty five verse eight) and to “wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Revelation twenty one verse four) Even more comforting, God will have “all those in the memorial tombs, (or grave), come out” free of sickness and pain. (John chapter five verses twenty eight and twenty nine; Isaiah thirty-three verse twenty-four.) May these scriptures help you to cope and bring you comfort until that time comes.

We are so very sorry for your loss.
