In memory of Mr. Jean-Guy Racicot, who passed away at the Timmins and District Hospital on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the age of 76. Jean-Guy is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Norma (Nee Gagné), his loving children Lise (Shawn Demers), Joanne (Wayne Lebitt), Donald (Denise Savoie) and Nancy (Adam Ragan), his dear grandchildren Francis, Melissa, Jonathan,Danny, Natasha, Vincent and Francesca, his great grandchildren Abigail, Adelle, Lily, Samson, Olivia and Landon and his remaining brother Gaston (Monique ) Racicot. He was predeceased by his eldest son Luc in 1999, his brothers Doris, Gilles, Ulysses, Marcel, Hippolyte and his sisters Aline, Alice, and Gaétane. Jean Guy spent 35 years trucking logs for H. Fiset and Sons until he retired in 1999. He took great pride in his gardens, harvesting many delicious meals for his family to enjoy. He also loved curling and his Montreal Canadiens. A daily enjoyment was walking around his community and visiting with his friends. The family will receive friends at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 11 am from the Nativity Parish in Elk Lake. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatfully acknowledged. A la douce mémoire de M. Jean-Guy Racicot décédé le 1er novembre 20014 â l'âge de 76 ans. Époux bien-aimé de 55 ans, Norma Racicot (née Gagné); ses enfants Lise (Shawn Demers), Joanne (Wayne Lebitt), Donald (Denise Savoie), Nancy (Adam Ragan); ses petits-enfants Francis, Melissa, Jonathan, Danny, Natasha, Vincent et Francesca; ses arrières petits-enfants Abigail, Adelle, Lily, Samson, Olivia et Landon et son frère Gaston (Monique) Racicot. Il est prédécédé par son fils Luc en 1999, ses frères Doris, Gilles, Ulysses, Marcel, Hippolyte; et ses surs Aline, Alice et Gaétane. Jean Guy à passer 35 ans comme camionneur pour H.Fiset and Sons jusqu'à ce qu'il prend sa retraite en 1999. Il aimait beaucoup son jardin, et prenait joie d'offrir des repas délicieux pour sa famille, il aimait aussi le curling et les Canadiens de Montréal. Chaque jours il aimait marcher dans sa communauté pour visiter ses amis. La famille recevra parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Perrin le mercredi de 2h à 4 h et de 7h à 9h. Les funérailles seront célébrées le 6 novembre à 11h00 en l'église Nativité d'Elk Lake. Les dons commémoratifs sont accepté pour la Fondation du Cur
