Jacques “Jack” LaCroix,

JACQUES “JACK” LACROIX,

2021

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we say goodbye to a loving father, grandfather and dear friend, Jack LaCroix. He was a long-time resident of Matachewan. Jack was born June 2nd 1947 to Arthur LaCroix and Lucille Doyon whom both predecease him. He is survived by his 3 loving children who he lived for, laughed with and was always there for through thick and thin; Gilles (Joyce), Suzanne (Rob), and Roger (Marci). His 5 precious grandchildren; Lauren, Gabriel, Nicole, Morgan and Jack. His dear friends Fabiola and Lou, special neighbours Gigi and Bob Binkley, as well as many other family members and friends.Jack was a fire chief for the Matachewan Fire Department for many years. He worked for Extender Minerals operating heavy machinery, and always looked forward to working at Kirkland Lake Power and the tree nursery. His real passion was the bush; cutting firewood for us and anyone else who needed some. He loved his music, playing it loud, and his drums and guitar. He loved to DJ for weddings and gatherings. He was a jack of all trades. He had many friends and loved every one of them.Fly with the angels my friend and play your music loud enough so we can all hear it. Rest in peace Jack, always in our hearts, never forgotten. At his request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside gathering will be held at a later date.Donations may be made in Jack’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of your choice.Offer Condolence for the family of Jacques “Jack” LaCroix
