May 10, 1962 – July 28, 2020It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jackie Cowie, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Jackie was born in New Liskeard, Ontario to the late Stanley and Lucille Villneff, and is also predeceased by her sister Diane. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Ronald Owen, sons Owen Jason and Darren, daughter-in-law Tracey, and grandchildren Vern (Ethan) and Reed; lovingly remembered as “Farmer Mom”. Jackie will also be sorely missed by her sisters and brothers Herb, Jim, Terry, Richard, John, Patrick, Patsy, Connie, Kim, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. A resident of Ramore, Ontario, Jackie was known for her caring and compassion throughout her life, being a long-time PSW with the Canadian Red Cross. In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will take place at a later date. DONATIONS:Chrohn’s & Colitis Canada

Jackie was one of those rare people that it is a privilege to know. Honest, compassionate, kind, empathetic, and with a great sense of humour in spite of all the health issues she struggled with over the years. My condolence Owen and family, I met Jackie when she was a PSW with the Red Cross, she came to my home to care for me for a few years, she had a beautiful smile and her laughter was contagious, and always kind.
